Brand kit

The brand kit holds the colors, signature, address and tax language that every template, printed letter and receipt uses.

What this screen is for

The brand kit lives in Settings. Set it once and every template, printed letter and receipt reads it: two colors from a safe palette, the signature block, your organization's address and the tax language. Your logo is the logo you already uploaded.

Choose your colors

  1. Open Settings, then Brand kit.
  2. Pick a "Main color" and a "Second color". Only colors that stay readable on paper and on screen are offered.
  3. Click "Save brand kit".

Set the signature and address

  1. Under "Signature block", fill in the "Signer name" and "Signer title". "Another signature line" adds a second signer.
  2. Add one more line if you want, such as a phone number or a P.S.
  3. Check the "Organization address".
  4. Click "Save brand kit". From then on, every template, printed letter and receipt uses it.

Set your tax language

  1. Under "Tax language", write the sentence printed at the foot of every receipt and statement. Your EIN follows it.
  2. Left empty, Steward uses the sentence shown in grey.

Preview a letter with a real person

  1. Under "Preview with a real person", find a person to preview with.
  2. Look at the letter with their details filled in.
  3. "Print for this person" downloads it, ready to print. "Make a draft for this person" puts it in your drafts to review; nothing is sent.

What Steward doesn't do here

Steward does not let you pick a color that would be hard to read, and it never sends a letter from here. Changes are not used until you save them; the screen says "Changed, not saved" until you do.
